MADEMOISELLE V: WHITE AND NAVY : TIMELESS AND STYLISH

Who said navy blue is old-fashioned? With white (and Red if we talk about french touch!) in Summer or combined with black in Winter, navy will always be one of my ever favorites and will always remind me "Spring is coming...!". In the old days navy was considered a Spring color only, all designers were proposing cocktail dresses and floral prints with navy for their Summer Collections only, but now it seems marine exudes a sexy twist and is now presented by both edgy or classic designers in their Winter collections, to pair with black or camel, burgundy, purple and chocolate brown. Very chic...On my way for a drink on the water at Jackie O in Mykonos I thought I would go simply but sophisticated in my white-navy favorites, a beaded top and a pair of skinny jeans, with matching dark sunglasses. Keep in mind now even the new smoky eye make up and nails need to be navy...and what about wearing something blue when you get married...? it has always been important. It is the color all first ladies and princesses choose for ceremonies and official shoots.
