WHERE IS THE KING OF THE CASTLE? A DAY IN GLORIOUS MILAN

Did you know Milan is the sole city in Europe with an "in town" castle?
Castello Sforzesco was built in the 14th Century and then was expanded until the 16th Century becoming one of the biggest citadels of Europe.
Now housing major art collections and museums (the most famous being the Egyptian and its catacombs) , it used to be the seat and residence of the "Dutchy of Milan".
It counts excellent paintings like Leonardo da Vinci's frescos on the ceilings, and it prevails within four massive towers and imposing external fortifications.
